First grader Nova Widman won a new bicycle for having Perfect Attendance for the first nine weeks of school.

Horry County Schools’ performance on the 2024 state report cards, based on overall ratings, shows that 36 out of 50 district schools (72%) were rated as Excellent or Good. Of those,14 HCS schools were rated Excellent, while 22 were rated Good. No HCS schools were rated Below Average or Unsatisfactory.
