Dear Green Sea Floyds Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! We’re excited to begin another incredible year of learning and growing with our 560 students, from Child Development through fifth grade. At Green Sea Floyds Elementary, everything we do is guided by our commitment to greatness, service, and family.

Greatness

We believe every student has the potential for greatness—and it is our mission to help them realize it. This year, we are especially focused on literacy. Reading is the foundation for all learning, and our goal is simple but powerful: we want every student reading on grade level. Through focused instruction, personalized support, and a love for learning, we are creating a school where students can thrive and excel.

Service

Our school is rooted in a deep sense of service. We are here to serve every child, every family, and our community with purpose and passion. Our dedicated staff is committed to meeting students where they are and helping them reach their highest potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Family

We are more than a school—we are a family. At GSF Elementary, we work to build strong relationships that make students feel safe, supported, and celebrated. We know that children learn best when they are surrounded by a community that believes in them. That’s why we value your partnership and invite you to be an active part of your child’s journey.

We are proud to share that we are rated Excellent on the SC State Report Card. This recognition reflects the hard work of our students, staff, and families—but we know that true success is measured in the growth of each individual child.
